1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS EF45/CAC  Sold

Walking Liberty half dollars are a great series to collect.  They encompass two World Wars, are large coins, are incredibly attractive and have significant artistic appeal.  To top it all off, the series can be completed by most collectors if one wishes to assemble a mid-circulated set.  The 1916 issue has long been known as a low mintage coin, but they were saved in relatively high numbers so finding one isn't all that hard.  Finding one in original condition and EF, though, is a tough nut to crack.  My images seem to make this coin look slightly lighter in color, in my opinion, than how it looks in-hand.  The coin is completely original with extant luster beneath the light patina and dirt clinging to many raised devices.  This is just a nice example of a tough coin.  Sold
